June 15 - Travel and Arrival Day

4:00 a.m. at Detroit Metro.  Smiling though!

In Haiti and headed to Children's Lifeline.

Prayer Rock.  This is the location of our morning devotions.  This is the rock Arnold Lemke sat on many years ago when God gave him the vision of the ministry at Children's Lifeline and told him to built it.

The worship team did a great job leading us in worship!

Lifeline Cross at sunset.
On June 15 we met at church very early in the morning, 3:30 a.m. and headed to the airport.  Our flights and connections went very well.  Even our time at the Haiti airport went better then expected.  We loaded the luggage and boarded the bus and off to Children's Lifeline we went.  Upon arrival, we found our room assigments, investigated the grounds, ate a wonderful dinner, unpacked the luggage and had a wonderful time of devotion and prayer at the Prayer Rock.  Turned in early, all very tired but excited to be in Haiti.
"The LORD had said to Abram, 'Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you.' " Gen. 12:1
